Platinum OG

A highly popular strain named after the precious metal. Its THC range is above 20% and sometimes as high as 24%. With a 25/75 sativa/indica ratio, most consider the strain to be heavy and quite powerful. It has plump, lime green flowers with orange hairs with a platinum colored coating (thanks to the THC). You’ll first feel a brief head rush and then deep body sedation.  Nighttime use is highly recommended.

The effects of Platinum OG include a calm body buzz, euphoria, couch lock, sleepiness, and relaxation. Because of the high THC, its CBD level is less than 1%. Medical patients should not solely rely on Platinum OG for seizures. It has helped to treat stress, insomnia, depression, headaches, inflammation, lack of appetite, mood swings, hyperactivity, and chronic pain.

Common negative effects include dry mouth and eyes.  Some will also experience paranoia or dizziness.
